Do you want to go to the pool / Should we get out the sprinkler / Do you want to splash in this creek / Make lots of noise to scare the snakes away/ Do you have sunscreen / Do you have your water bottle / Where is your water bottle/ Please come home with your water bottle / Run over to the neighbor’s house / I’ll bring watermelon / I’ll bring hot dogs / iIll bring full cookie sheets of cookies that I haven’t even allowed to cool / Are you wearing bug spray/ Are you wearing sunscreen / I know it’s hot / That’s just how the sun shines I can’t help it / We have to keep walking / You have to keep swimming / Don’t go out too far / Watch for jellyfish / Watch for sharp sticks / Watch for ticks / Watch for poison ivy / Watch for the most beautiful shells and let’s take them home.
