We will tear up that dance floor, because we love dancing. Especially so at weddings because we are celebrating love and there is free food.
I might even dance so hard that I might drop to the floor and rip my dress down the butt seam, like at the last wedding I was in, #3 of 4 for 2013.
Or I might just make this face all over the dance floor…Or this one in the back of your photos…
Or I might just freak out in the background of your special Kodak moment because CONFETTI EXPLOSION.
2013 has been a year of weddings around our home, 11 last I counted. I can’t say I mind. Marriage is the best, I love the Cha-Cha slide, and I enjoy a good emotional cry during speeches. Plus, it has produced lots of horribly awesome dance floor photos that we will someday show to our children when they are bad and threaten to chaperone their school dances. You’ve got to plan ahead, you know?
**Photo credits: All the photos except for the second to last are by Shannon Lee Miller from our friends’ Stephen and Leslie’s wedding and the other one is from James’ sister’s wedding by Vanessa Weddings.
I’d say you are just the kind of guest that people want to have at their weddings. You radiate FUN in the pictures.
Thanks! We certainly have fun at them!
Oh, my word, I love this so much. My husband and I are ALSO dancing freaks at weddings, but there are precious few occasions in life when you get to dress up and dance, so I say LIVE IT UP!
I have also fallen on the dance floor, and I was MORTIFIED as it was happening and immediately afterward. I thought we were going in for a dip, he thought we were doing a spin, and down I went. My biggest concern was that people would think I was falling-down drunk (not the case!), but they thought it was “part of the show,” whatever that meant. I’ll take it.
I feel you on those were-we-dipping-already? fall moments… I have hit the floor in them several times! It makes the crowd happy. : 0
This is the best. Confetti picture FTW.
It reallyyyyyyyy made me want a confetti cannon.
wow beautiful photos 🙂
Your dance pictures at the weddings you go to are my favorite 🙂
They are my favorite to be in! : )
Amazing photograph’s,Your photos are gorgeous! Absolutely stunning! I’m glad your photographer was able to capture so many great moments. It is the big decision to choose the right type of dance floor based on the individual occasion according to the size and number of guest.
Thanks
