PS: Did I basically squeal through all editing of these photos at the thought of my own squishy newborn this summer? YES. YES INDEED.

Lately, on InstagramAfter a week of parties, I just took down the bunting this morning, and it has me feeling all sorts of Monday-ready. This space. I still am in awe that it is ours. Especially in the quiet and clean early morning moments before the couch cushions become flatbed trucks and the table is covered with crayon marks and requested food that was subsequently rejected. We don’t have a headboard, or proper frame. The mattress needs to be replaced, as I think it might be the culprit for my constant hip pain. The built-in nightstands were clearly meant for a king, making our queen look laughably small in our beautiful, yet undecoratedx master bedroom. We don’t have plump throw pillows as they have all been sacrificed to cushioning me through two pregnancies, and all the bedding is from Target. But when I see it like this, all I see is perfection.
