Lately, on InstagramShown: one kid dutifully taking her puppy for his daily work and the other excitedly stuffing his treasure box with untold wonders (read: sticks and rocks). Not shown: the mom who had a really bad attitude all day long about the way the world is at the moment.Henry’s been using quarantine to master his instafluencer posing. One need never be bored with a neutral door, seasonal foliage, a good hair day, and a demure head tilt. But on a different note- the world is all too dark and scary and ugly these days. Which makes it all the more important that we teach our children to celebrate light and hope and beauty. Today that looked like picking all our fluffy daffodils and counting worms in the garden.
